We offer an additional layer of security for your GOG account with the optional but highly recommended two-step login. With two-step login enabled, your identity will be verified through your email address whenever you log in from a new device, browser and/or location.
After you enter your login credentials in your browser or in GOG GALAXY, we send an email with a four digit code to the email address of your GOG account. This code is valid for 15 minutes, after which it can no longer be used to log in to your account.
Please make sure that you don't close the login window before you have entered the code, as a new code is generated every time you input your account credentials. If you try to log in more than once, you should make sure to only enter the most recent code in the login window, as any previous codes won't be accepted.
Per default, this feature is activated on your GOG account. You can deactivate two-step login in your account settings, though we do not recommend doing so.
Should you encounter any problems with two-step login, please let our support team know so that we can help you out.
