Some games do not allow certain characters (spaces, dots, etc) in their folder path, therefore we had to disable them.
However, if you absolutely need to install the game to a specific location, there is a possible workaround - you can create a symbolic link and use it to install the game. In order to do this please follow these instructions:
-For Windows 7 press Start button and in Search field type:
- For Windows 8.1 and 10 click on Search button (on the right from Start), and in the search field type: cmd
Note (Windows 7, and 8.1 only): alternatively you can press WinKey+X and select Command Prompt (Administrator).
In Command window / Windows type, you will have to type:
mklink /d “C:\*CUSTOM-LINK*” “C:\*CUSTOM-INSTALLATION-PATH-OF-YOUR-CHOICE*”
mklink /d “C:\test” “D:\Private\Games”
mklink /d “C:\test” “C:\Program Files (x86)\Games”
After that you will receive this message:
Symbolic link created for PathA <<===>> PathB
