You may request a refund for a product up to 30 days after purchase, even if it was downloaded, launched, and played. To apply for a refund, start from your account's Order History page, find the appropriate order and click "Ask for a refund". For more detailed instructions click here or scroll to the bottom of this article.
Please keep in mind that we're actively monitoring the effects of our new Refund Policy to make sure no one is using it to hurt the developers that put their time and heart into making great games. We may refuse refunds in such individual cases.

Technical issues
If you're experiencing any technical problems with your purchase, our Tech Support is ready to offer some troubleshooting steps. If you contact us within the 30 days of your purchase and we're unable to help solve the issue, you will be offered a full refund.
Pre-orders
You can apply to refund your pre-order at any time, without stating a reason, until the game is officially released. Afterwards, it is covered for 30 days by our voluntary Refund Policy, as described above.
Games in development
Games in development can also be returned up to 30 days after your purchase, no questions asked. Check out this article for more details.
Wallet funds
You may request a refund for GOG Wallet funds within 30 days of purchase if they were purchased on GOG and if you have not used any of those funds.

Applying for a refund
For your convenience, you can apply for a refund directly in your profile. Go to your Orders History and find the purchase you'd like to return. Click on the "Ask for a refund" button underneath its title to be transferred to the refund form.
Keep in mind that you can refund a purchase made within the last 30 days -- in your orders history such transactions will be marked with a green shield .
In the next step you'll be asked to choose a refund reason from a drop-down list and a method of a refund.
GOG Wallet refund takes up to 24 hours to be processed. These funds can be used at any time for a future purchase from our catalogue and they have no expiry date. Keep in mind that Wallet funds will be added in the same currency as your original purchase.

Choosing Other type will guide you to our Support form where you can provide more details regarding the refund. We will do our best to get back to you as soon as possible, but please keep in mind that depending on the chosen method of payment, it might take up to 30 days for the refund to be processed.
After submitting your refund application, you should receive an e-mail confirming that your request has been successfully sent. Once your request is reviewed as per our Voluntary Refund Policy, we will send you a follow-up message.
I haven't received my refund request confirmation, do I need to apply for a refund again?
All messages concerning your purchases are sent from do-not-reply@email.gog.com. Please double check if such a message didn't end up in SPAM or similar folders and make sure to add this mail to your list of trusted senders.
The button to refund a purchase is missing although it was made within 30 days, what's wrong?
The button might be missing if:
- the game was obtained for free,
- the game was already refunded (you should see such information next to the game's price),
- the order is a gift order. In such case, please drop us a message instead.
