BENEFIT SCHEDULE
DISCOUNT CODE BENEFIT TERMS
1.1. This Schedule applies while the Discount Code benefit is made available as part of GOG Coins. For the purposes of this Schedule, “Discount Code” means a single-use promotional code made available as a Benefit under the GOG Coins Rules, which entitles the user to a discount on an eligible GOG order in accordance with this Schedule. We may stop allowing new Discount Codes to be unlocked in accordance with the Coins Rules and the Patrons Terms.
1.2. Stopping the availability of new Discount Codes will not affect a Discount Code that you have already unlocked or claimed, subject to the Coins Rules and the expiry, use, cancellation and invalidation rules set out in this Schedule.
1.3. As you collect up to three Coins, you can unlock two Discount Codes: once you have collected two Coins, you will unlock the option to claim a Discount Code reducing the total price of one GOG order by 5%; once you have collected three Coins, you will unlock the option to claim a further Discount Code reducing the total price of one GOG order by 10%.
1.4. Once you have collected two or three Coins, as applicable, you can claim the corresponding Discount Code. When you confirm the claim, the Discount Code will be revealed and ready to use. Claiming a Discount Code does not reduce or reset your Coin balance. After you have collected three Coins, your next successful monthly GOG Patrons payment will, if the Discount Code Benefit remains available, start a new 3-Coin cycle and your Coin balance will show one Coin for that new cycle. Holding one Coin does not yet mean that a Discount Code has been unlocked.
1.5. You do not have to claim the Discount Code immediately after it becomes available to claim. You may claim it at any time before the expiry date described in Section 1.7.
1.6. Any Discount Code you have already claimed before your GOG Patrons membership ends will remain valid until its stated expiry date, regardless of the status of your membership. Any Discount Code you had unlocked but not yet claimed before your membership ends may still be claimed within its original claim window described in Section 1.7 below, even though your membership has ended.
1.7. The Discount Code is valid for 90 days from the date on which it becomes available to claim, regardless of whether or when you actually claim it. The exact expiry date and time will be displayed in your profile when the option to claim the Discount Code becomes available and, after the Code has been claimed, together with the Code. Once the validity period expires, your right to claim or use the Discount Code, as applicable, will expire and will not be reissued, except as expressly provided in Section 2.1 or where required by applicable law.
1.8. The Discount Code unlocked at two Coins reduces the total price of one GOG order by 5%; the Discount Code unlocked at three Coins reduces the total price of one GOG order by 10%. Individual products or categories may, however, be excluded where required by law, our contractual arrangements, technical limitations or the nature of the product. We will show you any exclusion no later than in the cart, before you place and finalize the order.
1.9. The Discount Code cannot be used to purchase GOG Wallet top-ups and GOG Patrons membership.
1.10. The Discount Code may be used in any country and currency in which GOG makes GOG Coins available and technically supports the relevant Code. The discount will be calculated in the order currency and rounded to the smallest unit of that currency.
1.11. You may use only one GOG Coins Discount Code in a single order. The Code may be used together with a promotional product price, but it cannot be combined with another code entered during checkout unless the checkout process expressly states otherwise.
1.12. The Discount Code may be used only once. It will be considered used once the order to which it was applied has been successfully placed. The Code cannot be exchanged for cash, GOG Wallet balance, a refund of the GOG Patrons fee or any other benefit.
1.13. You must claim the Discount Code through your own GOG profile, but after claiming it you may voluntarily share it with another person. The first successful use of the Code will cause it to expire for everyone else. If you voluntarily share the Code and another person uses it, we will not issue a replacement Code.
1.14. You may not sell the Discount Code, offer it publicly for commercial purposes, publish or distribute it publicly, whether or not for payment, automatically obtain or collect Codes, or use them as part of organised resale or abuse.
1.15. If you believe that the Code was used without your permission as a result of your account being compromised or an error on GOG’s side, contact GOG Support. We will review the report taking into account the circumstances, account history and available technical data.
1.16. If, on 21 September 2026, you have an active GOG Patrons membership and have had an active GOG Patrons membership without interruption since 21 June 2026 or earlier, you will unlock the option to claim a one-time 10% Discount Code (the “Launch Bonus”). The option to claim the Launch Bonus will be made available only once. Periods for which no fee was charged or for which a refund was issued, and periods subject to a successful chargeback, will not be counted. The Launch Bonus is subject to these Discount Code Benefit Terms, including the validity period described in Section 1.7 and does not affect your Coin balance or your ability to unlock Discount Codes by collecting Coins .
2. Cancelled orders, refunds and chargebacks
2.1. If an order using a Discount Code is cancelled by GOG for reasons unrelated to your actions, or is not properly created because of a technical error on GOG’s side, we will restore the Code with its remaining validity period. If less than 14 days remain before the Code expires, the new Code will be valid for at least 14 days.
2.2. If you receive a full or partial refund for an order using a Discount Code, the refund amount will be calculated based on the price actually paid after the discount was applied.
2.3. In the event of a partial refund, the Discount Code will not be restored. In the event of a full refund requested by you, the Code will not be restored, unless applicable law or the reason for the refund requires a different outcome.
2.4. The Discount Code will not be restored in the event of a chargeback, payment reversal, fraud, abuse or breach of the Coins Rules, the Patrons Terms or the User Agreement.
